Famcarely is a personal health record application developed by Aadil. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Famcarely mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account.
  • Health Data: Medical documents, medical history, medicines and reminders, vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, SpO2, weight, temperature), vaccination records, and insurance claims that you voluntarily enter into the app.
  • Family Profiles: Names and health data of family members you add to the app.
  • Device Information: Basic device information required for app functionality and crash reporting.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Famcarely service.
  • To sync your health data securely across your devices via Firebase.
  • To send medicine reminders and health notifications.
  • To improve app performance using anonymised crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics).
  • To enable AI-powered lab report interpretation (processed via Google Gemini API).

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud Storage: Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), protected by strict security rules ensuring only you can access your own data.
  • Local Encryption: Data stored locally on your device is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
  • Authentication: Access is protected by Firebase Authentication (email/password and Google Sign-In).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal health data with third parties, except:

  • Google Firebase: For secure cloud storage and authentication.
  • Google Gemini API: Lab report images you choose to analyse are sent to Gemini for AI interpretation only.
  • RxNorm API (NLM): Medicine names may be sent to check drug interactions.

5. Your Rights

  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app Settings.
  • You can view all your data within the app.
  • You can disable biometric lock, notifications, or offline storage from Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Famcarely is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date above.
